The First Youth Wrestling Tournaments  Ofogh Koorosh Cup was held in Tehran province.

Ofogh Koorosh Public Affairs Department reports; Ofogh Koorosh Chain Stores held the First Wrestling Youth Cup aiming to support the traditional and historical international sport.

The national tournament held with the presence of Ofogh Koorosh Chain Stores' Managing Director Mr. Amir K. Fakhrian and his deputies was well received by many authorities and athletic figures in Shahid Anvari Sports Complex in Rey City south of Tehran.

At the end of the tournaments Ofogh Koorosh Managing Director Mr. Fakhrian received the championship cup as a symbolic move to appreciate the group's valuable efforts of supporting wrestling.

The First Youth Wrestling Tournaments  Ofogh Koorosh Cup was held gathered over 74 leading national wrestlers in 8 teams where Shahid Rezaee Academy lifted the championship cup and Shahr Rey B Team and Shahryar City Team held the second and third place respectively.

Many important athletes and public figures including Olympic Gold Medalist Hamid Sourian and Iran Deaf Wrestlers Team head coach Mohammad Mahmoudi  and many other popular figures were watching the tournaments closely. The tournaments had over 600 fans cheering for their teams, where 50 of them were rewarded valuable prizes by Ofogh Koorosh Chain Stores through a lottery.
